Business Experiments: How to figure out if Markets exists before starting a Company

Devcon September Conference, Wednesday, September 12, 2012, 12:10

As humans we’re not that great in assessing risk. When we start a new company we are often too certain that everything will work out the way we imagine it.  This leads to many more failed companies than necessary.

In the talk, I present data to support the idea that business is risky, and discuss the theory and practice of the experimental approach to business, a method for mitigating risk which I’ve found to be highly effective.
