NoSQL and BigData – Concepts, Theory and Some Code

The data revolution causes huge amounts of data flow to become relevant to your application in new ways that were ignored or seen as irrelevant in the past.

In this session we will see what the buzz about NoSQL and BigData is all about, with Comverse Chief Programmer, Amir Kirsh, and Comverse Middleware Product Architect, Ofer Yaniv. We will go through solutions such as MongoDB, CauchDB, MemCached, Cassandra and HBase, discuss the relations to Cloud Computing and tie it together with Google Application Engine, Big Table, MapReduce, AWS and more.
